Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 6, 2026

These terms form the agreement between you and Drivio when you use this site or place an order. Please read them before buying.

1. Acceptance

By using driviostore.com or placing an order you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Refund & Returns Policy and Shipping Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. You must be at least 18, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to order.

2. Products, pricing and availability

Prices are in US dollars and exclude taxes and shipping unless stated. We try to describe and picture products accurately, but colours, finishes and packaging may vary and manufacturer images are illustrative. Availability and stock indicators are estimates and can change; if an item is unavailable after you order, we will cancel and refund that item in full. Obvious pricing or description errors do not bind us — we will contact you and let you cancel.

3. Orders and payment

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send a shipping confirmation. Payment is processed on Shopify’s secure checkout. We may refuse or cancel an order for suspected fraud, resale, pricing errors or where we cannot ship to your location.

4. Your responsibility for order details and fitment

You confirm that the shipping address, product, variant (size, colour, fitment) and quantity are correct before checkout. Drivio is not responsible for losses caused by incorrect address entry, wrong variant selection, vehicle incompatibility, refused or undeliverable packages, or delayed collection.

5. Legal use — radar detectors, lighting and plate accessories

Laws differ by country, state and city. You are responsible for confirming that a product is legal where you drive and for using it lawfully. In particular:

  • Radar detectors are prohibited in Virginia and Washington, D.C., and in commercial vehicles over 10,000 lbs under federal rules; they are illegal in many countries outside the US.
  • Radar jammers and laser jammers are illegal under federal law and are not sold by Drivio.
  • License plate covers, tinted or reflective plate products and similar accessories are sold for off-road, show or private-property use only, and are restricted or illegal on public roads in many jurisdictions.
  • Aftermarket lighting colours, brightness and placement (including interior and underbody lighting) are regulated in most states — check before installing.
  • Dashcams may be subject to windshield-mounting rules and to audio-recording consent laws; in two-party consent states you must inform passengers before recording audio.

Nothing on this site is legal advice, and no product is sold to encourage unlawful driving or evasion of law enforcement. You accept full responsibility for citations, penalties, impoundment or other consequences of unlawful use.

6. Installation and safety

Some products require electrical installation. Follow manufacturer instructions and use a qualified installer where you are unsure. Drivio is not liable for damage caused by improper installation, modification or misuse, and such damage voids the warranty.

7. Warranty

Products carry a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects from the delivery date. The warranty excludes wear and tear, accidental damage, water ingress beyond stated ratings, and improper installation. Contact hello@driviostore.com with your order number to claim. This warranty is in addition to, and does not limit, any statutory rights you have under consumer law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site and products are provided “as is”, and Drivio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of use, data, profits, or vehicle downtime. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your non-excludable statutory consumer rights.

9. Intellectual property

The Drivio name, logo, site design and original content are owned by Drivio. Product images, names and trademarks (including Cobra and other manufacturer brands) belong to their respective owners and are used to identify the products we sell. Do not copy or reuse site content without permission.

10. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site, attempt to breach its security, scrape it at scale, or submit unlawful, infringing or abusive content through our forms or chat. Our AI support chat can make mistakes; treat its answers as general guidance, not a binding commitment.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, USA, and disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located there, unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim locally.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published when you order. Questions: hello@driviostore.com.
